Being Grateful...


Every successful person in life is being helped by someone else. No one makes it alone. Have a greatful heart and be quick to acknowledge those who help you. The fence that shut others out, shut you in. There's no such thing as a 'self-made man'. 

Everyone who has ever done a kind deed for us, or spoken one word of encouragement to us, has entered into the make up of our character and our thoughts, as well as our success. You don't always use all the brains you have but all that you can borrow. 

So make yourself indispensable to somebody. If you blame others for your failures, do you credit others with your success? The man who believes in nothing but himself lives a very small world. Every great man is always being helped by somebody else.

Forget It All

Everyone of us has had a dream of living a better life but the evil winds usually sweep and blow us to places so far from our desired lifestyle. Life is a resting place like they say but why do we have to suffer before we leave? Alot have died and so are we to, before we can leave it to our young brothers and sisters to carry on. Everyday bears more pain and today's generation is better than the one to come.  Our lifestyle has been filled with a huge amount of killings, prostitutions,teen pregnacies, abortion and all the dark secrets we keep in our hearts. We are not free because some of these things were not dreamt of in our early years. We now hurt ourselves and refraining from these addictions isn't in our minds. The Law of Garbage Truck

Recently I hopped in a Taxi and we took off for the Airport.  We were driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car jumped out of a parking space right  in front of us.   My taxi driver slammed on his brakes, skidded, and missed the other car by just inches!  The driver of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us. My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy.  And I mean, he was really friendly.   So I asked, 'Why did you just do that?   This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!'  This is when my Taxi driver taught me what I now call, 'The Law of the Garbage Truck'  He explained that many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment.  As their Garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they'll dump it on you.  Don't take it personally.  ...
