The Most Important Thing....

Your future comes one hour at a time. Never be disgraced when you make progress, no matter how slow or small. Small steps are a big idea. Nobody makes the greater mistake than someone who did nothing because he could only do a little.

You are always nearer than you think. The greatest oppurtunity is where you are. Do not despise your own place and hour. The most important thing in our lives is what we are doing now. Know the real value of today.

The regrets that most people experience in life comes from failing to act when having an oppurtunity. Be on the the look out for the oppurtunities God is sending your way.

"The time is always right to do the right thing. Be driven by excellence. The true measure of a person is in his height of ideals, breadth of sympathy, the depth of his convictions, and length of his patience. If you want greatness, then forget greatness and earnestly pursue what is right. Then you can find both. The biggest mistake you can make in life is not to be true to the best you know. Keep yourself clean and bright, you are the window through which you must see the world"

The most important thing is to begin, even though the first step is the hardest. Inches make champions. Value little things. One day you may look back and realize they were the big things. Take a small step right now, don't ignore the small things, the biggest dog was once a pup. Seize the moments!!

It's A Process....

Accomplishing your dreams is a process, not something that happens overnight. Often we get discouraged because we don't think we are making progress, and the next thing we know we have veered away from that goal. The key is to plan a course for how we want to achieve our goals. And each and every day, take a few steps closer towards our goal. You've got to get to the stage in life where going for it is more important than winning or losing. Having once decided to achieve a certain task, achieve it at all costs of tedium and distaste. The gain in self-confidence of having accomplished a tiresome labor is immense. "Somehow I can't believe that there are any heights that can't be scaled by a man who knows the secrets of making dreams come true. This special secret, it seems to me, can be summarized in four C s. They are curiosity, confidence, courage, and constancy, and the greatest of all is confidence. When you believe in a thing, believe in it all the way, ...

Forget It All

Everyone of us has had a dream of living a better life but the evil winds usually sweep and blow us to places so far from our desired lifestyle. Life is a resting place like they say but why do we have to suffer before we leave? Alot have died and so are we to, before we can leave it to our young brothers and sisters to carry on. Everyday bears more pain and today's generation is better than the one to come.  Our lifestyle has been filled with a huge amount of killings, prostitutions, teen pregnacies, abortion and all the dark secrets we keep in our hearts. We are not free because some of these things were not dreamt of in our early years. We now hurt ourselves and refraining from these addictions isn't in our minds. We hurt ourselves and all those who are related or contributed to the problems we are facing therefore making us fail to concentrate and forgetting that every second draws us closer to the day we leave the world. Life is bitter and the best we ca...

The Law of Garbage Truck

Recently I hopped in a Taxi and we took off for the Airport.  We were driving in the right lane when suddenly a black car jumped out of a parking space right  in front of us.   My taxi driver slammed on his brakes, skidded, and missed the other car by just inches!  The driver of the other car whipped his head around and started yelling at us. My taxi driver just smiled and waved at the guy.  And I mean, he was really friendly.   So I asked, 'Why did you just do that?   This guy almost ruined your car and sent us to the hospital!'  This is when my Taxi driver taught me what I now call, 'The Law of the Garbage Truck'  He explained that many people are like garbage trucks. They run around full of garbage, full of frustration, full of anger, and full of disappointment.  As their Garbage piles up, they need a place to dump it and sometimes they'll dump it on you.  Don't take it personally.  ...
